Social Networking Revisited
Hitwise reports on the social networking sites market share.
They determine Facebook as the fastest growing site in the pack, but MySpace as the one with largest market share.
Percent-wise Facebook may be the fastest growing site, but if we talk numbers here, 185% of 11.47% total US visits is not same as 70% of 79.70% US visits.
It is truly hard to believe that this post is just a couple of years old. Now facebook has risen far far above the rest of these platforms and the introduction of twitter came from left field. Things can change exponentially faster in this digital age.. who can guess what will happen next??
